About the Role
An opportunity to develop your organisational and problem-solving skills in a unique team making a difference to people seeking sanctuary from the war in Ukraine.
We have a short-term or secondment opportunity to work as part of our Homes for Ukraine Team as a Triage Officer. You would work to support effective processes and communications that ensure Ukrainians seeking sanctuary from war have safe and appropriate host accommodation and can access services to support them to live independently in Leicestershire.
We are looking for someone with great organisational, communication and data handling skills, and excellent attention to detail to support key processes within the team.
You will be the first point of contact for new hosts on the scheme, communicating key information about the requirements of the scheme and triaging and processing further communications, requests and required tasks relating to the scheme, as well as overseeing and liaising with partners regarding safety and safeguarding, including DBS checks.
