Our client, a leading commercial vehicle dealership in Derby, is seeking an experienced Truck Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with proven experience in commercial vehicle sales to take ownership of a thriving sales operation, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to business growth within a reputable dealership.

Build and maintain enduring relationships with customers and key accounts
Identify customer requirements, offering suitable commercial vehicle solutions
Manage the entire sales process from enquiry to delivery as a Truck Sales Manager
Provide a comprehensive customer experience, including aftersales support
Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
Ensure the sales department operates efficiently and professionally
Maintain detailed product knowledge and stay current with industry developments
Generate new business opportunities while nurturing existing accountsRequirements of a Truck Sales Manager:

Prior experience in Truck Sales, Commercial Vehicle Sales, or HGV Sales
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Demonstrable ability to meet and surpass sales targets
Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven approach
Ability to motivate colleagues and influence customers
Knowledge of DAF products is advantageous
HGV Licence beneficial but not essential
