Tug Operator

A well established and highly successful business operating within the logistics industry has partnered with the team at NET Recruit to assist them on their search for a Tug Operator to join their team in the Portsmouth area.

You Role
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating assigned tug vehicles
• Moving and transporting shipping containers
• Coordinating with the port and ferry teams
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines where possible

You MUST Have
Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:

• Previous tug operating experience
• Exposure to the logistics industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organisation and time management abilities

Your Opportunity
Over the last decade this business has grown and developed, becoming a leader within its market, successfully providing services for cargo handling and freight forwarding to its clientele. This role will support the hands-on day to day operations of the business, operating tug machines, that are designed to transport shipping containers around with ease.

The business is offering a good starting salary of up to £30,000 dependent on previous experience. This will be accompanied by a very good remuneration package and plenty of opportunities for growth and development whilst in this role and working within the wider supportive team.
