Turkish Speaking Primary Tutor with SEN experience

Make a Real Impact as an SEN Tutor.
Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students with SEN or SEHM needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors to join our team. You’ll provide personalised, 1:1 or small group support in English and Maths for Turkish speaking Primary students. These in-person sessions in Clapton offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

• Hours: Initially 4 hours a week, building up to 15 hours.
• Location: Clapton.
• Day(s): Mon - Fri.
• Time(s): 9am - 3pm.
• Subject and Level: KS1 Maths and English.
• Pay: £30 - £35 p/h (depending on experience).
• Contract length: Until the end of the academic year.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
• Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
• Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these
• Monitoring student progress and producing reports
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
• Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
• Speaks fluent Turkish
• Experience working with student with communication difficulties and speech delays
• An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The right to be self employed in the UK
