NET Recruit are partnering with a highly successful business to assist them on their search for a UK Accountant to join the team in Worthing.
Your Role While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting in the preparation and submission of UK management and statutory account packs, including supporting documentation
Maintaining the fixed asset register, including recording additions, performing reconciliations, processing journal entries, and generating reports
Supporting the timely completion of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Preparing, reconciling, and submitting intercompany balances across entities
Managing and reconciling financial postings for all branch accounts
Supporting recharge processes across departments
Acting as a finance business partner for Capex and assigned cost centres, providing insights and financial oversight
Supporting cost centre reporting by issuing budget variance analyses and monitoring follow-up actions to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts
Assisting the wider finance team with month-end close activities and ad hoc tasks, including standard costing, budgeting, and tax-related analysis
Supporting the annual audit process by liaising with external auditors, preparing audit files, and fulfilling audit-related information requests
You MUST Have Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post qualified experience
Extensive experience within a comparable accounting role
Experience in working with global teams
Able to manage a diverse workload and a range of projects
Exquisite communication abilities, particularly in stakeholder management and also relaying technical financial information and analysis
Excellent IT competencies, including Microsoft Office, Power BI and financial systems
Your Opportunity A rapidly growing medical services company with a strong presence in Europe and is actively expanding into other global markets, offering a wide range of products and services to their diverse customer base. The position holder will be proactively supporting senior finance professionals inside the wider finance team, and providing expert services in accounting and management accounting, playing a key role in the end-to-end completion and submission of management and statutory accounts.
For the successful candidate within this role, a starting salary of up to £55,000 will be on offer, depending on prior experience and knowledge, which will accompany an additional benefits package include a competitive holiday and pension allowance, and a plethora of attractive benefits and rewards. Additionally, there will be a strong route for progression and plenty of support with additional training and skills to keep relevant finance knowledge up to date.
