UK Tax Assistant

Change Recruitment are delighted to be assisting an excellent accountancy practice, that specialises in tax, in the recruitment of a UK Tax Assistant for their Paulton office near Bristol. This is a hybrid role paying a salary of circa £27k.

Duties for this role include:

• Assisting with the preparation of Self-assessment tax returns
• Electronic filing of Self-assessment tax returns
• Liaising with HMRC regarding client’s tax affairs
• Liaising with clients regarding their UK tax returns
• Researching technical queries
• Assist with any digital tax disclosures required
• Prepare Capital Gains Tax calculations and returns
• Other administrative tasks as required

The ideal candidate will have some exposure to accounts related work, but have a keen interest in pursuing a career in Taxation as this role will offer study support towards ATT and CTA qualifications.
