UK Tax Manager

As Tax Manager, UK, you will:

• Own and manage UK tax compliance obligations, including corporate tax returns, filings, tax provisioning, and group reporting for annual and half year submissions.
• Act as the primary UK tax contact for Finance, ensuring tax related accounts are accurately understood and maintained.
• Manage and perform indirect tax compliance and support UK aspects of transfer pricing requirements.
• Provide commercial and technically supportable UK tax advice on business matters, new products, and transactions, escalating complex or non-standard issues as appropriate.
• Manage relationships with external advisers and UK tax authorities, including audits and information requests.
• Monitor UK tax legislation and regulatory developments, identifying and communicating relevant impacts to stakeholders.
• Support the Head of Tax, Europe & America on technical and operational matters as required.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Solid UK tax experience, with a strong preference for in-house UK tax roles.
• Prior UK accounting firm training, ideally to Manager level, followed by in-house experience.
• Strong UK corporate tax compliance background, with the ability to independently manage returns, provisions, and related processes.
• Sound, commercial UK tax advisory capability across day-to-day business matters.
• Working knowledge of UK tax accounting, including current and deferred tax concepts and interaction with finance teams.
• Relevant professional qualifications (ACA, CTA, CPA or equivalent).
