As a New or Existing Business P&C Commercial Underwriter, you'll play a key role in transforming how broker portfolios are managed, fostering responsive, flexible, and collaborative relationships. With a strong balance of technical and trading capability, you'll be empowered to make decisions, supported by data, insight, and mobile technology. Your focus will be on developing and delivering profitable growth across new business within key markets.

• A perceptive approach to market demands, ensuring customer and business needs are met effectively
• Experience working in a P&C underwriting environment, whether at an insurer or broker
• High-level technical underwriting expertise
• Strong trading capability, commercial awareness, and expert negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain excellent broker relationships, with a solid understanding of the current commercial insurance market
• Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
• Developed analytical skills with experience in account monitoring and action planning
• Capability to drive change and continuous improvement, using resilience and adaptability
