Junior Underwriter/ Underwriter - Building Warranty & Insurance
Location: Altrincham
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Start Date: ASAP

A leading building warranty and insurance specialist is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Underwriter to join their Altrincham-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid experience in risk assessments and insolvency, ideally within a regulated or insurance-related environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and review risk assessments on cases and clients
• Support and manage insolvency procedures, ensuring compliance throughout
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation and reports
• Liaise confidently with clients, legal teams, and internal departments
• Ensure all activity aligns with internal protocols and industry standards

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience with risk assessments and insolvency is essential
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and administration skills
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
• A background in construction insurance would be highly desirable
