This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-standing independent insurance business that has been operating successfully for more than 20 years. Known for its supportive and relaxed culture, the company is not part of a larger group, so you’ll be joining a close-knit team where your contribution really matters.

The business has in-house underwriting and an exclusive delegated authority scheme with a major insurer, giving full authority to handle premiums typically ranging between £7.5k and £100k. You’ll be joining as an Underwriting Assistant, supporting the Underwriting Team, and taking on an important role in the submission process. Day to day you’ll be reviewing submissions, carrying out pre-underwriting checks, sourcing information, uploading data into systems, and assisting senior underwriters with their caseloads.
