The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Underwriting Assistant to support our Property Reinsurance team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a school leaver or recent graduate looking to break into the insurance and reinsurance industry. No prior insurance experience is required - full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to underwriters

Prepare and process underwriting documentation and data entry into systems

Assist with renewal and new business tracking, including quote and bind activities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts and correspondence

Liaise with brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely handling of submissions

Support reporting and analysis of underwriting data as needed

Learn about property reinsurance products, processes, and market dynamics

What We're Looking For
A recent school leaver or graduate (A-Levels or university degree)

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Comfortable working with numbers and data

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Proactive and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)

Interest in developing a career in insurance or reinsurance
