Must Have’s

• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Some previous customer service experience
• Great written communication skills for emails and reports
• Comfortable working under pressure and multitasking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn in-house systems
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Nice to Have’s

• Previous experience in financial services or underwriting
• Background in retail finance, lending or credit control
• Understanding of consumer credit regulations
• Ability to spot inconsistencies or red flags in applications

So, what will you be doing?

• Reviewing consumer credit applications against internal lending criteria
• Liaising with customers and partners to obtain missing information
• Making timely, accurate decisions to support responsible lending
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
• Communicating outcomes clearly and professionally
• Supporting continuous improvement within the underwriting team
