Underwriting Support Manager

Role profile:

• ?????????????An excellent opportunity to join a growing Lloyd's syndicate to manage the Underwriting Support team
• Providing management information, insights and portfolio Reporting
• Supporting the development of the Syndicate underwriting operations processes and procedures to enhance efficiencies
• Supporting the CUO in the reporting and analysis of the Syndicate Underwriting portfolio, working with various departments
• Managing the Syndicate PMD returns process and relevant regulatory returns, working with IT and the CUO
• Developing and implementing Syndicate underwriting controls monitoring
• Working with the CUO and Risk Management in the implementation of the underwriting and risk and controls framework
• Contributing to the collation and escalation of Syndicate internal and external audits

Experience and skills required:

• Proven experience of working in the Lloyd's insurance market
• Strong people and communication skills
• Experience of using MS Office including Business Intelligence tools (Excel, Power BI etc)
• The ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders of all levels
• The ability to analyse and resolve queries, leading to enhanced processes
• The ability to share key knowledge with the team
• Excellent organisational skills
