Unit-e Specialist

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting on behalf of BIMM University, a leading creative higher education institution with campuses across the UK, Ireland, and Germany. BIMM offers an exciting range of courses in music, performing arts, filmmaking, and creative technology - and is committed to delivering excellence in education across the creative industries.

We're looking for a Senior Specialist - Student Record Systems (SRS) to play a key role in the development, configuration, and technical support of the Student Information System, specifically UNIT-e.

This position is critical to ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of BIMM's systems, directly impacting both student and staff experience. You'll work closely with the Technology Applications team and help shape future enhancements to support the university's evolving needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading technical development, configuration, and maintenance of the UNIT-e system
  
• Collaborating with the Technology Solutions Architect
  
• Managing vendor relationships for SRS projects
  
• Ensuring data security and minimising disruption during changes
  
• Producing clear technical documentation and supporting process improvements
  
• Occasionally supporting out-of-hours work as needed
  

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with UNIT-e (administration, curriculum building, etc.)
  
• Knowledge of RepGens, business rules, and application support
  
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or .NET
  
• Strong communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders
  
• Experience working within a Higher Education environment
  

Salary & Benefits:

• £49,920 - £55,000 per year
  
• Hybrid Working- 1 day a week in Brighton Office
• 25 days annual leave (FTE) (Not including Bank Holidays)
