Unqualified Motor Mechanic Lecturer

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mchanic for a permanent position at a college we partner with. This role will support the delivery of light vehicle maintenance apprenticeship programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanic professional or trainer with experience in further education or apprenticeships to step into a well-established programme and support learner progression.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver practical and theoretical sessions across Light vehicle apprenticeships

* Support apprentices in developing industry-standard skills and knowledge

* Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment in line with health and safety regulations

* Monitor learner progress and provide feedback where required

Requirements:

* Relevant industry experience in Mechanic (essential)

* Experience delivering training or working with apprentices/learners (preferred)

* Level 3 in light vehicle (Essential)

* A teaching qualification (or willingness to work within FE standards) is desirable

* Strong communication and organisational skills

Additional Information:

* Full-time hours (37 per week)

* Based on-site in Consett, County Durham

* Short-term agency assignment covering two separate weeks
