Are you a Senior Urban Designer looking to join a design-led, collaborative team working on medium-to-large-scale master planning projects across the UK? This role is ideal for an urban design professional with a passion for placemaking and sustainable housing development who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment contributing meaningfully to the built environment.

On offer is the opportunity to join a thriving company who focus on high quality within the Residential and Commercial sectors. This is an established business that provides a range of architectural and urban design solutions to powerhouses in the UK property sector such as Greene King, Travelodge and Bloor Homes. You will be working on a range of projects for both domestic and commercial clients.

The role would suit a Urban Designer or similar to immediately add value to a team of dynamic and accomplished designers, elevating your knowledge and expertise by taking responsibility for designs from inception through to completion.

The Role:

• Lead urban design and master planning projects from concept to completion

• Prepare drawing packages, feasibility studies and design codes for large-scale residential and mixed-use developments

• Work collaboratively on multiple projects at any one time

• Demonstrate strong design, layout and placemaking skills

The Person:

• Background in Urban Design or Architecture with a strong focus on master planning

• Commutable to Chelmsford

• Experienced in residential, mixed-use or commercial design projects
