Urgent Care Clinical Lead

Job Summary:
We have an exciting opening for a skilled Urgent Care Clinical Lead to join the team at the London based Urgent Treatment Centre. As the subject matter expert in urgent care, you'll collaborate with a supportive and innovative leadership team to ensure our patients receive top-quality care.

Main Duties:
In this role, you'll demonstrate your leadership and clinical prowess by managing, developing, and coordinating the department to maintain our high standards of care. You'll oversee a team of clinical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will be pivotal in advising staff, fostering effective teamwork, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of UTC staff and equipment, working closely with the Clinical Director and Service Manager to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate clinical competencies and supervise junior colleagues.
Maintain professional accountability and ensure compliance with policies.
Conduct patient assessments and implement clinical treatments.
Manage departmental operations to ensure smooth and safe functioning.
Participate in audits and performance reviews to maintain high standards.

Person Specification:
NMC Registration
Minimum five years of post-qualification experience with evidence of coaching and managing staff. A good chance for someone looking to step up and take on more line management
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with leadership.
Experience in conducting audits and addressing incidents and complaints.
