Urgent Care Clinical Lead

We are currently recruiting for a Urgent Care Clinical Lead to support a UTC based in West Middlesex. The role is a permanent contract, with a full time presence on site needed.
Job Overview:
This clinician will be responsible for the coordination and day-to-day running of the UTC.
They will be responsible for ensuring that a high level of service is delivered within the budget.
They will be accountable for the management of resources within the UTC operations in liaison with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager.
The Urgent Care Clinical Lead will be directly responsible for the line management and appraisal of nurses & ENPs within the department, as well assisting in the supervision of other members of the department.
The Urgent Care Clinical Lead will identify pressures in the UTC and take the appropriate actions and steps to promote patient flow and ensure overall patient safety in conjunction with operational service staff.
They will liaise with the Emergency Department when required to signpost UTC attendees whom require ED treatment.
The Urgent Care Clinical Lead will also be responsible for coordinating rotas alongside the rota team and providing staff updates to the Service Manager when required.
Experience needed:
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
Minimum 2-year experience of Primary, Urgent or Emergency Care within the last 5 years.
Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership role within the last 3 years.
