Job Description - US - UK Tax Senior Associate

A highly established, owner-led US/UK Tax specialist Accounting Firm is searching for a US/UK Tax Senior Associate to join their team.

The business has recently moved into newly refurbished offices in an accessible location in London. They are a close to 30 strong US Tax team and have achieved significant year on year growth, attracting top clients and retaining existing clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
Preparation and review of US and UK tax returns (Forms 1040, Form 8938, FBARs, UK Self-Assessment, etc.) for individual clients
Ensure timely filing of tax returns, estimates, and extensions
Prepare draft responses to the IRS, HMRC and other authorities
Assist with research, consultations and prospective client processes
Advise clients on tax-efficient structures
Draft written memos relating to various tax matters
Supervise and mentor junior tax team members, reviewing their work, and assisting with training
