We are looking for a proactive and organised Utilities Coordinator to join our Account Management team. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from contract agreement to billing go-live for our metering and billing clients. You’ll be the driving force behind getting new contracts mobilised, ensuring that all operational, technical, and customer touchpoints are aligned for a successful first billing run.
You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end mobilisation of new metering and billing contracts – from the moment a contract is signed through to the first successful billing run. Acting as the primary point of contact for new clients, you’ll coordinate internal teams, manage data, and ensure everything is in place for a smooth, professional onboarding experience.

The Role:
Job Location: Bishop Stortford
Hours Per Week: 8.30am - 5.00pm 37.5 hours
Role Type: Permanent
Reporting to: Senior Heat Network Manager
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end mobilisation of new metering and billing contracts, from contract signature through to the first successful billing run.
Maintain clear documentation throughout the mobilisation process to ensure a smooth handover to the Heat Network Account Manager.
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, operations, billing, customer service) to ensure all mobilisation activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
Act as the key point of contact for clients during mobilisation, ensuring they are informed, supported, and confident in our process.
Set up and manage mobilisation plans, tracking key milestones and dependencies to keep projects on schedule.
Conduct onboarding meetings with clients to align expectations and walk through the mobilisation process.
Troubleshoot early-stage issues and work with relevant teams to ensure swift resolution prior to handover.
Monitor first billing performance, flagging and resolving issues proactively to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Experience in project coordination, service delivery or client onboarding
Strong organisational and data management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Confident working with spreadsheets and system configuration
A proactive, detail-focused approach
Knowledge of utilities, energy or property services is a bonus
