Utility Surveyor

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Underground Utility Surveyor to join a growing utilities team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in utility detection and topographical surveys, who’s eager to develop further within a supportive and professional environment.

You'll work on a variety of high-profile projects, apply your technical skills, and play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality survey data to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out underground utility detection surveys to PAS 128 standards
  




• Conduct large-scale topographical surveys to support utility mapping accuracy
  




• Process survey data and produce high-quality drawings using CAD and relevant software
  




• Ensure timely delivery of project outputs in line with client specifications
  




• Mentor junior team members and support apprenticeship development
  




• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures on all sites
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in utility and topographical surveying
  




• Strong knowledge of GPR, Cat & Genny, Leica Total Stations, AutoCAD, and N4ce
  




• Proven ability to independently manage and deliver complex surveys
  




• Understanding of commercial aspects of survey delivery
  




• HNC/ONC in a relevant discipline or equivalent field experience
  




• Minimum 2 A-Levels (or equivalent) and 5 GCSEs (grade A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths)
  




• Member or Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors
