Utility Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct GPR and utility mapping surveys using modern equipment and techniques
  




• Undertake investigative utility surveys and complete all associated documentation
  




• Liaise effectively with surveyors, contractors, clients, and suppliers
  




• Produce detailed Utility Survey Reports
  




• Perform quality control checks and issue data to CAD
  




• Review and approve survey drawings prior to client issue
  




• Support and mentor junior surveyors as needed
  




• Provide technical advice to Project Managers and internal teams
  

Requirements

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Utility Surveying
  




• Strong understanding of underground utility tracing and GPR
  




• Experience working on complex surveys across varied environments
  




• Competence in post-processing GPR data
  




• Working knowledge of PAS 128:2014
  




• Flexible approach to work and travel
  




• Full UK manual driving licence
  




• CSCS card
  

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience using CAD software
  




• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
  




• ProQual (NVQ) Level 3 qualification
  




• SSSTS certification
