UX/UI Designer

The ideal candidate will be ready to help shape our client's digital products, helping them shape user experiences from concept to launch. Working closely with cross-functional teams both with the client and Eclipse, to solve user problems with intuitive and accessible experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, solve complex design challenges, and make a meaningful impact on our users' lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviours, and translate insights into actionable design recommendations.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualise and communicate design concepts and interaction flows.
·

Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to define project goals, scope, and requirements based on user and business objectives.
·

Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and data analysis to continuously improve the user experience.
·

Ensure consistency and coherence across different touchpoints and devices by following established design guidelines and best practices.
·

Advocate for user-centered design principles and champion the needs of the users throughout the product development lifecycle.
·

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design to inform design decisions and improve processes.

EXPERIENCE
Essential Skills
·

Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and outcomes.
·

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or similar software, we use Figma at Eclipse.
·

Solid understanding of UX design principles, user research methodologies, and interaction design patterns.
·

Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, colour, and layout.
·

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively present and explain design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
·

Previous experience with A/B testing tools (and any associated software)
·

Ability to turn insight into actionable recommendations
·

Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise responsibilities

NICE TO HAVE
·

Experience working in an Agile development environment.
·

Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
