The ideal candidate will be ready to help shape our client's digital products, helping them shape user experiences from concept to launch. Working closely with cross-functional teams both with the client and Eclipse, to solve user problems with intuitive and accessible experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES ·
Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviours, and translate insights into actionable design recommendations. ·
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualise and communicate design concepts and interaction flows. ·
Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to define project goals, scope, and requirements based on user and business objectives. ·
Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and data analysis to continuously improve the user experience. ·
Ensure consistency and coherence across different touchpoints and devices by following established design guidelines and best practices. ·
Advocate for user-centered design principles and champion the needs of the users throughout the product development lifecycle. ·
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design to inform design decisions and improve processes.
EXPERIENCE Essential Skills ·
Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and outcomes. ·
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or similar software, we use Figma at Eclipse. ·
Solid understanding of UX design principles, user research methodologies, and interaction design patterns. ·
Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, colour, and layout. ·
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively present and explain design decisions to diverse stakeholders. ·
Previous experience with A/B testing tools (and any associated software) ·
Ability to turn insight into actionable recommendations ·
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise responsibilities
NICE TO HAVE ·
Experience working in an Agile development environment. ·
Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
