Key Responsibilities Lead the application of Systems Engineering processes throughout the full engineering lifecycle. Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges within advanced radar systems. Conduct system design and trade off analysis to optimise system performance and capability. Decompose customer and stakeholder requirements into system and subsystem requirements. Manage requirements within approved toolsets such as IBM DOORS Next. Produce and review system specifications and technical documentation. Lead system architecture development and modelling activities using tools such as Cameo, CATIA Magic or Enterprise Architect. Define system integration, verification and validation strategies. Key Skills Extensive Systems Engineering experience within complex engineering environments. Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and systems thinking. Experience working to recognised standards such as ISO 15288. Proven experience managing requirements using IBM DOORS Next or similar tools. Experience leading large scale complex system design activities. Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle models including Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience using engineering and project management tools such as JIRA. Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non technical audiences.
