Vacuum Furnace Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading heavy industry manufacturer to recruit Vacuum Furnace Engineers to join their new team based in Rotherham.

Working Hours- Monday to Friday -days and afters (flexibility needed)

Location: Rotherham

Salary – £50,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience

Duties of the Vacuum Furnace Engineer will include:

• Work to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental policy, associated standards and procedures
• Providing first line maintenance/breakdown
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
• Facilitate lean ways of working to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
• Leading, coaching and developing other employees
• Practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working
• Ensure that all parts required are booked out correctly

We are keen to speak with Vacuum Furnace Engineers with the following:

• BTEC/ NVQ qualified in an electrical or Mechanical engineering
• Ideally electrical experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment due to nature of the business
• Practical Mechanical / Electrical hands-on skills
• Good fault finding and problem solving skills
• Good knowledge of continuous improvement programmes, particularly planned maintenance activities
