Are you passionate about manufacturing excellence, quality assurance, and project delivery? Our client, a leading defense organization, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team. You'll directly contribute to the success of critical defence programmes by validating their external supply chain for full-rate production readiness.

What You'll Do:
Own a portfolio of key suppliers, managing relationships and driving their adherence to quality standards
Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate supplier capabilities to meet project requirements
Utilise tools like Process FMEAs, MSAs, Process Mapping, MRLs, and Production Readiness Reviews to ensure suppliers are ready for production
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to supply chain and manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality

What You'll Bring:
A manufacturing engineering background with a keen understanding of processes and techniques
Experience with manufacturing or supplier quality,

ideally

within the defence or aerospace industries
Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing capability transfers
Proficiency in Industrial Validation tools: Process FMEAs, MSA, Process Mapping, MRLs, Production Readiness Reviews
Exceptional problem-solving skills to drive root cause analysis and implement improvement plans
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders
