Role: Van Driver (3.5T)

Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire

Hours: Flexible Hours | Weekend Availability Required

Pay Rate: £13.50 an hour, weekly pay

OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Van Driver to join a well established company based in Shefford, within the Events Industry.

This is a varied role supporting the delivery and collection of event equipment across multiple locations. You’ll be working as part of a two-person team alongside a Driver’s Mate, ensuring all items are delivered safely, professionally and on time.

Please note — this is not a fixed-shift role and flexibility is essential due to the nature of the events industry, including early starts, later finishes and weekend working.

Duties of a Van Driver:

Driving a 3.5T vehicle to event locations
Loading and unloading event equipment in teams of two
Delivering and collecting chairs, tables and event hire products
Ensuring safe handling and transport of equipment
Providing excellent customer service onsite
Working flexibly around changing delivery schedules and event requirements
What we would like from you:

Full UK Driving Licence (3.5T)
Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
Reliable and professional attitude
Strong teamwork skills
Previous delivery or event experience beneficial but not essential
