Van Driver (Multi-Drop Delivery)

Location: Chesterfield, Nottinghamshire & Mansfield Area
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our team, carrying out multi-drop deliveries across Chesterfield, Nottinghamshire, Mansfield and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service.

This role involves regular manual handling and lifting, therefore applicants must be physically fit and capable of moving and carrying products safely.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete daily multi-drop delivery routes across designated areas.

* Load and unload goods from the delivery van.

* Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on schedule.

* Obtain delivery signatures and maintain delivery records.

* Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.

* Plan routes efficiently to maximise delivery performance.

* Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.

* Follow all road safety and company procedures.

* Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.

Requirements

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience preferred.

* Good knowledge of the Chesterfield, Nottinghamshire and Mansfield areas.

* Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items safely.

* Strong time management and organisational skills.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

* Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads.
