Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am-2:00pm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Bury, who are looking for a reliable and customer-focused 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join their team.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers safely and efficiently. This is a customer-facing position, so excellent communication skills and a professional manner are essential.

Your duties will include:

Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver goods to customers
Loading and unloading goods safely
Ensuring deliveries are made on time and in good condition
Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
Completing delivery paperwork where required
Carrying out basic vehicle checks
Following all relevant driving and health & safety procedures
Supporting the wider team when requiredAbout You

We are looking for someone who is:

Over 25 years old due to insurance requirements
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
A confident and competent 3.5 tonne van driver
Customer-focused with good communication skills
Flexible and willing to assist where needed
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Presentable and professional when dealing with customersWhat's on Offer?
