Mobile Electrical Technician - Kent

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Electrical Technician to join a busy facilities maintenance team working across a prestigious rail contract. This role involves carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across railway stations and associated buildings throughout the South East.

A company van is provided, so a full UK driving licence is essential. Successful candidates will also be required to pass a medical assessment and complete training to obtain a PTS (Personal Track Safety) Sentinel Card if they do not already hold one.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works.
Ensure all work is completed safely, following method statements, risk assessments and current health & safety legislation.
Deliver maintenance works within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Maintain buildings and facilities to a high standard through a proactive maintenance approach.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site teams through excellent customer service.
Keep all site documentation accurate and up to date for internal and external audits.
Update the client's CAFM system with accurate maintenance records.
Carry out electrical installation and maintenance work in accordance with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and industry standards.
Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical and construction safety regulations.Working Hours

Monday to Friday
1 in 6 on-call rota with additional on-call allowanceEssential

18th Edition (City & Guilds 2382 or equivalent)
City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent electrical qualification)Desirable
Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
Personal Track Safety (PTS)
IOSH Working or Managing Safely
Experience with Permit to Work (PTW) and RAMS
L8 Training
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
