We are currently recruiting for a Van Pack Assistant to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across the Malton Area, Yorkshire Region. About the Role

As a Van Pack Assistant, you will:

• Working closely with the Van Pack Operator in support of working as a 2 person team. 


• Attending to customers, informing them of works due to be carried out and answering any concerns


• Support in Inspections of drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.


• Reporting all findings / data to the appropriate teams


• Assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting


• Assisting the Van Pack Operator to operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.


• Adjust pressure levels based on the condition of the system and the nature of the blockage (e.g., grease, debris, or tree roots).


• Use the equipment to remove waste materials and prevent build-up in drains and sewer lines.


• Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes


• Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures 


• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.


• Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.

Experience and Qualifications:  (Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)

• Full UK driving license (Required)


• Water Jetting Association Red or blue book


• Banksman


• Manual Handling


• Emergency First Aid


• NRSWA


• EUSR National Water Hygiene


• Medium risk confined space

Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
