Van Pack Engineer

About the role:

The Lanes Group are seeking a van-based Jetting Engineer/Blockage Technician on the front line, to join our growing depot network. The work is a mixture of reactive and planned work and due to this we are recruiting for an experienced operative to join our team. The role is based out of our depot in Eastleigh.

Location: Eastleigh

Salary: £14.00-£14.50 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications held)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with overtime available

The job:

You’ll be operating van-mounted jetting equipment for a wide range of drain-related issues. Based out of the Eastleigh Depot, your projects will cover a wide range of drainage related issues, from emergency call-outs and blockages to cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programmes.

You will visit various types of clients and sites both commercial and residential.

About you:

You may already be familiar with high pressure jetting equipment with drainage experience including internal blockages but training can be given for those who do not possess them but have a desire and attitude to learn.

You’ll need a UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and hold an up to date CSCS card (desirable).

You’ll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures. And you’ll love working outdoors.

Being flexible is essential too: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours call-out rota.

This is a full time position with overtime potential; regular training (including our own City & Guilds qualifications)
