LCV Technician – Chatham

Our client is actively looking to recruit a skilled LCV Technician to join their dedicated team. Additionally, for those with van repair experience, this is a great opportunity as a Van Technician in a busy workshop environment.

Benefits of the LCV Technician role include:

Competitive basic salary of up to £41,000 per annum
Quarterly bonus scheme with potential earnings of up to £3,000 after six months
Overtime opportunities to significantly increase earnings
Working Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.30pm
Saturday rota (1-in-3) paid as overtime, from 8.00am – 12.30pm
Stable and consistent workload supported by major fleet contracts
Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality standardsDuties: 

Conduct servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicles, including Light Commercial Vans.
Perform repairs on brakes, clutches, suspension, turbochargers, and timing belts
Carry out MOT testing and handle warranty work
Diagnose and fault-find using modern diagnostic equipment
Maintain vehicle records and ensure compliance with safety standards
Manage a high-volume workload efficiently, generally servicing over 20 vehicles daily
Follow company procedures to ensure vehicle safety and quality standards are metRequirements:

Proven experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles 
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
