VAT and Bookkeeping Manager

Exciting opportunity for a VAT and Bookkeeping Manager to join a growing firm based in Brighouse.

This independent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients, from audit, accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll.

As a VAT and Bookkeeping Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a team and reviewing work.
• Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Preparation of personal tax, corporate tax, and VAT returns.
• Preparation of Management Accounts.
• Have a portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns to complete each year.

To qualify for this VAT and Bookkeeping Manager position, ideally you should have:

• Experience of Iris, Xero, Quick Books, Sage would be beneficial.
• Able to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
• Friendly, confident manner and be happy to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Audit experience would also be preferable.
• AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
