Job Title: VAT Assistant Manager

Location: London Office, EC2V

Salary: Up to £55,000!

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on complex UK and cross-border VAT issues
• Leading VAT registrations, compliance reviews, and HMRC correspondence
• Building strong relationships with clients and becoming their go-to VAT specialist
• Collaborating with our international teams on multi-jurisdictional matters
• Contributing to business development, marketing, and internal strategy
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth
• Taking part in monthly VAT knowledge-sharing huddles and firm-wide initiatives

The Individual:

• ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent VAT experience)
• Solid UK VAT technical knowledge with commercial application
• Experience dealing with HMRC and a proactive approach to compliance
• Bonus: international VAT exposure or broader tax experience
• Clear communicator with a client-first mindset
• Organised, collaborative, and eager to grow
• Tech-savvy and confident with Microsoft Office tools
