Vehicle Damage Assessor (Commercial Vehicles)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well -established and growing commercial vehicle accident repair business for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their successful team.

The Role

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for accurately assessing accident -damaged Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), producing repair estimates using Audatex, and working closely with workshop teams, engineers and insurers to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.

Requirements

• Carry out detailed damage assessments on commercial vehicles.
  
• Produce accurate repair estimates using Audatex.
  
• Liaise with insurers, engineers and workshop teams.
  
• Obtain repair authorisations and manage estimates through to completion.
  
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  
• Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the repair process.
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator.
  
• Audatex estimating experience.
  
• ATA accreditation or NVQ/IMI qualification is desirable.
  
• Experience with LCVs and/or HGVs is advantageous.
  
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a busy team.
