Vehicle and Plant Engineer

Location: Perth
Salary: £20.00ph (£25.00ph Weekends) + Company Van + Pension + 29 Days Holiday

Our client, a well-established business within the agricultural sector, is looking for a Plant Engineer to join their engineering team in Perth. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of vehicles, plant machinery, and equipment to keep operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair plant machinery and vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance.
Complete maintenance records and job documentation.
Ensure all work meets health & safety standards.
Support workshop and fleet reliability.

Requirements

Experience as a Plant Engineer, HGV Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Vehicle Technician, or similar.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Flexible approach to working hours.

Salary & Benefits

£20.00 per hour basic rate.
£25.00 per hour weekend rate.
45-hour week (Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm).
