As a Vehicle and Plant Technician, you’ll be at the heart of maintaining our extensive and diverse fleet. This includes essential maintenance for Highways, Street Lighting, Passenger Transport, Mobile Libraries, and Winter Maintenance vehicles. Your timely, cost-effective repairs will keep Lancashire’s front-line services moving efficiently, ensuring our communities remain safe and connected.
What you'll do:
In this role, you’ll work a 37-hour week with the opportunity to earn overtime paid at time and a quarter, plus a tool allowance.
You’ll also take part in our standby rota, covering one week in every four. The current standby allowance is £171.45 per week, and any call-outs during this time are paid at time and a quarter, with additional rest time provided for unsociable hours.
