  • Deliver high-quality work to keep frontline services operational, from gritting and highways to mobile libraries.

In this role, you’ll work a 37-hour week with the opportunity to earn overtime paid at time and a quarter, plus a tool allowance.

You’ll also take part in our standby rota, covering one week in every four. The current standby allowance is £171.45 per week, and any call-outs during this time are paid at time and a quarter, with additional rest time provided for unsociable hours.

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Plant/Mobile Technician, Light Vehicle Technician, PSV/HGV Technician or Auto Electrician.
  • A proactive approach and commitment to keeping essential services running
  • You'll be a great communicator with the ability to mentor apprentices and junior members in the team

Apply today and make a real difference to Lancashire’s communities.

Application review is ongoing so we would encourage you to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this exciting opportunity.
