Vehicle Design Programme Lead

This is a fantastic long term contract role working in a leading automotive OEM in the Midlands as a Vehicle Design programme Lead. You will be working in the Vehicle Design Programme Management team in the Creative Chapter.
The Design Programme Lead (DPL) is the creative enabler for their programme/s, driving the delivery of the Design Vision from concept to production with efficiency and clarity. This role will require an open mindset for x functional collaboration across multiple brands supporting the Creative Bespoke Materiality & detailed design Team. As the centre of the Vehicle Design team, the Design Programme Lead will lead the delivery of their programmes, ensuring all activities are in line with the Creative and business priorities, PCDS and delivered on time. They are accountable for ensuring Vehicle Design activities are based on Agile Ways of Working, constantly striving to improve the performance of the team.
We are looking for candidates with proven Project Management experience, dealing with timing, Risk & issue resolution, cost and resource systems. Ideally you will have come from an automotive studio or product design studio environment. You will have excellent communication skills with people of all levels and expertise: notably Design, Marketing, Programme, Engineering and excellent organisation skills and self motivation.
