For the HGV Mechanic role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment. Responsibilities of an HGV Technician ·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards. ·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection. ·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment. ·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements. ·Ensure all paperwork is completed. ·Assist the VMU Co-ordinator / FLM to liaise with the Transport and Logistics departments about vehicle availability. Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic ·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician ·HGV licence is an advantage ·Good interpersonal and communication skills ·Previous experienced gained in a HGV fleet maintenance operations (desirable)
