Job Description - Vehicle Mechanic - Lexus

Job Title: Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Lexus, Sidcup.
Salary: Up to £45,000 basic (depending on experience and brand accreditations) + uncapped OTE of £20,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 to 17.00, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00 to 13.00. (Saturdays paid at 1.5 hours overtime)

£2000 Joining bonus + £2000pa to salary once passing the Proace training course.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our thriving Lexus Sidcup Dealership. Offering a competitive salary, exceptional earning potential, and guaranteed bonus during leave or training, this role is perfect for a technician looking to advance their career towards Senior or Master Technician status.

Key Responsibilities:.

  • Conduct fault finding and diagnosis using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Complete major and minor vehicle repairs with precision and efficiency.
  • Handle routine maintenance, including light and full-service work.
  • Order relevant parts and ensure repair and maintenance meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Service and Parts, keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Meet or exceed efficiency and productivity targets.
  • Carry out road tests and communicate findings with customers.
What You’ll Need:

  • A valid MOT licence would be helpful but not essential.
  • Proven experience working to efficiency and productivity targets.
  • A meticulous approach to work, ensuring no repeat visits for customers.
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to learn and grow, including hybrid vehicle knowledge.
