Vanta Staffing are looking for a fully experienced Vehicle Prepper to join a growing bodyshop specialist in the Maidenhead area.

The Role

Prepare vehicles for painting to a high standard.

Carry out sanding, filling, masking and surface preparation.

Identify imperfections and ensure surfaces are ready for a high-quality finish.

Apply primers and complete all necessary preparation work.

Ensure all work is completed efficiently within allocated timescales.

Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

Work closely with panel beaters and paint technicians to ensure a smooth repair process.

Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, with workshop hours of 7:30 am–5:00 pm. Some flexibility on start and finish times, with Saturdays if required.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Vehicle Prepper within an automotive bodyshop.

Excellent knowledge of vehicle preparation techniques, including sanding, filling, masking and priming.

A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent standards.

A reliable, conscientious and professional attitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
