Our client is a well-established, family-run automotive garage based in Haxby, York, with over 30 years of trusted service in the local community. Known for their honest approach, loyal customer base, and high-quality workmanship, they are looking for an experienced, proactive Vehicle Technician /MOT Tester to join the team in a key role.

Vehicle Technician Benefits:

Vehicle Technician Duties:

• Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and compliance records
• Identify faults, repairs, and potential issues with honesty and professionalism
• Assist with general vehicle servicing and repairs when required
• Work as part of a close-knit, supportive team

Vehicle Technician Criteria:

• Valid MOT Testing licence (Class 4)
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
• Good mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Reliability, integrity, and a positive attitude
• A full UK driving licence
