We’re on the lookout for a skilled Automotive Technician who wants fulfilment in their role, and change more than just cars — someone who wants to change lives. You’ll lead by example in the workshop, sharing your knowledge with junior staff and volunteers, while keeping vehicles safe, roadworthy, and reliable.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out basic services, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of cars
• Performing MOT tests (Class 4, 5 & 7) to DVSA standards (if you have an MOT license - this isn’t necessary)
• Providing hands-on support and mentorship to junior team members and workforce volunteers
• Working with the Service Manager to identify faults, order parts, and keep things running smoothly
• Conducting health checks and flagging additional work to keep vehicles in top condition
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
• Working some Saturdays on a rota (with time off during the week)

What You Bring

• Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance (or equivalent)
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with strong technical and diagnostic skills
• MOT Tester licence - preferred, but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
• An eye for detail, pride in your work, and a genuine team spirit
