Job Title:- Vehicle Technician
Salary:- up to £38,000

We are recruiting aVehicle Technician in the Uckfield area, and they have an opening to join their independently-run service and MOT centre

The Vehicle Technician role comes with a basic salary of £35,000 with fantastic opportunities for MOT training and electric/diagnostic development in the future

Working across all makes and models, all brands of all ages
They can mould you up to an MOT Tester, but also for training at electric and diagnostic level (all training and hotel expenses paid) in the future
Family run approach, no heirs and grace
£35,000 basic, flat & guaranteed pay with no bonus systems

Key Technician Roles and Responsibilities:

Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard
Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times to maintain efficiency
Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards
Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised, and safe from hazards to health and safety
Be able to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite and efficient manner
To be aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are always met

Minimum Technician Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of experience working in a service, Dealership or fast fit centre as a Technician (or similar)
Must have a Driving License
Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of your work
