Job Title: Vehicle Technician – Automotive Service Centre – Paignton
?? Location: Paignton
?? Salary: £28,577 – £35,000 per annum
?? Bonus: Uncapped average bonus of £4,800/year (potential to earn more!)
?? Hours: 5 days per week (Centre closed on Sundays)

?? About the Role We are working in partnership with the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance, and repair group to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for their busy service centre in Paignton.
You’ll be joining a professional workshop environment that offers excellent long-term career prospects, regular training, and a competitive bonus scheme.

? Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles
Conducting more complex repair work including clutches, timing belts, injectors, head gaskets, and more
Servicing vehicle electrics, steering, brakes, and suspension systems
Working efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance
Delivering great customer service and clear communication within the team

?? Key Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
OR proven time-served technician experience
Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points
Confident with diagnostic tools and experienced in complex repairs
MOT Testing qualification is a plus (training can be provided)
Experience in an Autocentre, dealership, or independent garage environment
