Vehicle Technician - £38K-£45K Basic | No Weekends | Great Hours | Training Available

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 basic (no bonus, just a strong salary)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays

We’re working with a reputable, long-established automotive business that’s on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician. If you're confident with all areas of mechanical work — from cambelts to clutches and brakes — and want a stable job with a great work-life balance, this is the opportunity for you.

This is a Monday-Friday only position with no overtime, no weekend shifts, and no upsell targets — just real workshop work in a friendly, professional environment. Perfect for a mechanic looking to get off the dealership hamster wheel and into a well-paid, low-stress role.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs and routine servicing

• Work on cambelts, clutches, brakes, exhausts, and general vehicle maintenance

• Keep workshop efficiency and safety standards high

• Optional: Use diagnostic tools and assist with MOT testing (if qualified)

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Vehicle Technician or experienced mechanic with strong hands-on skills

• Experience with all standard mechanical repairs - diagnostics or MOT licence is a bonus

• A reliable team player with good attention to detail and pride in their workmanship

• Someone who’s ready to get stuck in and hit the ground running
