Vehicle Technician / Mechanic - Doncaster
- £35,000 – £45,000 OTE (Depending on experience and qualifications)
- Full-Time | Permanent
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, plus alternate Saturday mornings

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a successful and expanding automotive group in Doncaster.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician looking to work in a modern workshop environment with strong earning potential and ongoing technical development.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle preparation work across a range of manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out routine servicing and maintenance

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

* Complete vehicle health checks (VHCs)

* Carry out vehicle preparation work to a high standard

* MOT testing (if qualified)

* Maintain accurate job records and documentation

* Follow all health & safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, you should have:

* NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

* Experience within the motor trade (2+ years preferred)

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Good communication and teamwork abilities

* Ability to work independently and use initiative

* A proactive and reliable approach

Desirable (but not essential)

* MOT Tester licence

* Main dealer or franchised dealership experience

* Experience with electronic Vehicle Health Check (VHC) systems

* Knowledge of hybrid and modern vehicle technologies
