The Role

An established and highly regarded independent automotive retailer in Lincoln is looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their growing workshop team.

The business operates from a spacious and well -equipped site featuring a modern workshop, showroom, valet bay, and an outdoor forecourt with over 150 vehicles. With a strong reputation for quality, customer care, and a wide range of services including diagnostics, servicing, and vehicle sales, the team is proud of its professional yet down -to -earth working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  

• Perform diagnostics and fault finding using the latest tools and equipment
  

• Complete MOT preparation and associated repair work
  

• Maintain accurate service and repair records
  

• Support a positive workshop culture by working collaboratively with the team
  

• Follow all company and health & safety procedures
  

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair – essential
  

• At least 5 years’ experience in a main dealer or similar professional workshop
  

• Confident in diagnostics and problem -solving
  

• MOT licence is a bonus – training can be provided if needed
  

• Full UK driving licence
  

• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team -first attitude
