Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles efficiently and to high standards Perform diagnostic work, warranty repairs, and routine servicing Handle tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and general mechanical repairs Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) adhering to workshop standards Complete accurate job card write-ups to ensure high levels of productivity and quality Work collaboratively within a team, maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfactionRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician in a workshop environment Confident working on diagnostics, servicing, and repairs Strong team player with a professional, process-driven approach MOT license is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided Eager to expand knowledge in manufacturer accreditation, EV, and hybrid technologies Ability to work 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basisThis Vehicle Technician role represents a fantastic career move for an ambitious and skilled individual seeking to advance within a reputable dealership.
